| We received a grant from Target and were awarded $5000.00 to purchase iPod Touches for literacy. The grant allowed us to purchase a set of 24 iPod Touches, protective cases, & docking stations. This will allow teachers to check out the set for students to use for independent work; dictionaries, internet searching/browsing, multimedia skill games, ebooks, etc. Applications purchased from iTunes can be loaded on 5 iPod Touches and range in price from .99 - $2.00, making them very cost effective. We would use the iTunes gift cards to purchase applications for student use. |
