Redland Elementary: Window Blinds

I need some new blinds for my office (currently 2 sets of blinds side by side at approximately 71-72" each across). The glass is single pane, and therefore we lose the majority of the heat we produce out the window in the winter. On warmer days, it gets extremely HOT in my room. The current mini blinds are falling apart. I would like to replace them with some honeycomb-type of blind to help insulate the room (from cold and heat). I would estimate the cost to be approximately $300-400.00, but am not exactly sure. The current metal blinds...
Amount Needed: $190.00

Beavercreek Elementary: Material/Curriculum Organization

Time to stop complaining about what we don't have and start using what we do have. Lets get it organized and into the hands of our kids!!

After several years of teaching and numerous curriculum adoptions over the years, there are so many great manipulatives and resources that would be great to use on a regular basis or as a supplement to our current curriculum...but they are buried in cardboard boxes in the back of closets, long forgotten until you pack up in June or unpack in August.

McLoughlin Elementary: Junior Scholastic Magazine subscription for the class

Junior Scholastic magazine has high-interest articles about our country and the world. We use it for world study, geography, current events, national issues, and reading and test-taking skills in general. We currently have a subscription for half the class, but a full subscription for next year would give us a lot more flexibility for lesson planning and homework.
